Service, Repair and Maintenance

At MAC Electrical and Welding we have our own in-house test and repair centre for all gas burning and welding equipment, and all our Test engineers are qualified by the manufacturers whose equipment we supply, test and repair. You can rest assured that your equipment will be restored to manufacturers' standards ensuring a cost effective solution to your safety and production problems.

All safety inspections and servicing of all gas equipment are carried out to BS ISO 9001:2008 and BCGA (CP7 and CP17) standards.

We maintain a database of all burning and welding equipment tested by us. This allows us to produce schedules which we use to notify customers who wish to be informed when periodic testing of equipment is due.

Our testing service includes the servicing and safety inspection of all LPG equipment and road lining and marking equipment including tool heaters, hot boxes, lining prams and thermoplastic boilers and preheaters. This service is available on-site or at our workshops, and all inspections are carried out by our experienced engineers.

Mac Electrical and Welding have a number of contracts with local authorities and road maintenance companies to provide our scheduled maintenance service on a three-monthly basis.
